Kumar writes his views, which are mostly different from those of the country’s mainstream media. In January 2015, his website was hacked, and a threat to his life was posted on the homepage. He has also been bullied on social networks. That led him to stop posting on Facebook and Twitter and since August he has focused entirely on his blog. Kumar has been very vocal about the “online lynch mob”. He believes that social media space is no longer a citizen’s space, rather it has been infringed upon by political parties to peddle their ideology and propaganda.
